NK Run-Archery Zoetermeer 2018

De uitslag van het Nederlands Kampioenschap Run-Archery op zaterdag 29 september in Zoetermeer.

Onder de bezielende leiding van David Stevenhagen wordt samen met het vrijwilligers-team van HKS al jaren een top wedstrijd neergezet op de prachtige locatie in Zoetermeer en dat is in 2018 opnieuw gelukt. HKS had veel buitenlandse gasten en de organisatie heeft speciaal voor hen (ook voor NL deelnemers, vrijwilligers en publiek) prachtig weer geregeld. Het programma was compact waardoor om vier uur de feestelijke prijsuitreiking kon worden afgesloten met team foto shoots en een drankje.

Senioren: internationale overmacht

Ondanks dat het niveau in Nederland elk jaar stijgt kon Team NL nog niet op tegen de buitenlandse toppers. De A-finale werd uiteindelijk een 2-strijd tussen de Rus Vlad Kiriutin en de jonge Duitser Niklas Krause. een tweestrijd die uiteindelijk nipt door de Rus in zijn voordeel is beslecht. Op ruim een minuut pakt de Rus Andrey Egorov het brons. Tim Freriks werd voor de 4e keer op een rij Nederlands Kampioen, maar hij zat heel dicht bij de internationale concurrentie en ook andere Nederlanders realiseren de aansluiting. Tim versloeg in een prachtige eindsprint de Rus Alexei Andeianov met één (1) seconde!! Vlak daarachter het 4e lid en de coach van het National Team Russia Vladimir Matveev. Na een imposante eindsprint pakte de Russische junior Oskar Shaimuatov de 7e plek overall als 2e junior achter Niklas Krause. Wat een spanning en hoog niveau, 5 mensen in de finale binnen 21 seconden; Oskar versloeg op de laatste meters Mark van Tiel van Concordia Zeeland (zilver NK), en het 3-tal van team Switbertus; Joost Immink (brons NK), nummer 3 bij de junioren Bram Polman (NK junioren) en Jorik Klein Nijenhuis. Achter Bram Polman pakte in de B-finale Wladek Zytkiewicz van HKS het zilver bij het NK junioren en Rik van de Berg (Avalon Apeldoorn) het brons. Henri Polman was zo gelukkig als 14e en laatste de A-finale te halen als enige master en daarmee de NK titel voor de 6e keer. Grote uitdager en inspirator Wim Mulder (Avalon Sports) was veroordeeld tot de B-Finale, waar Wim in een geweldige race (10 van de 12 hits) de 1e plek en zilveren plak bij de masters won. Andries Domburg (Streekschutters) bleef Eduard Sipman van Avalon net 3 seconden voor om zo het brons bij de masters weg te kapen.

Ook bij de dames een buitenlandse topper op het hoogste treetje van het Open NK; de gouden Duitse Sandra Szulc was supersnel voor de zilveren russin Valentina Linkova. Vlak daarachter zat de 1e Nederlandse dame Vera Versteeg van HKS. Vera is nog junior en pakte bij de dames junioren de gouden plak voor de Russin Olga Sannikova die na een indrukwekkende kwalificatie als snelste dame overall, in de finale wat tegenviel. Bij de dames was in de wedstrijd Milou van Mierlo van atletiek Oirschot de 3e senior; als debutante op het NK een top prestatie. Milou is nog geen NHB lid en daardoor ging het kampioenschap naar Marleen Domburg van WAC Wageningen die net voor de talentvolle russin Victoria Linkova finishte. Bij de dames masters was Tonny van Kuringen-Huijbregts van Aurora Oirschot de winnares.

Aspiranten en cadetten

Bij de aspiranten waren mede dankzij Piet Meertens een aantal nieuwe talenten die heel goed debuteerden. De meeste indruk maakte Bodhi van Otterlo van HSV Waterschutters met een klinkende overwinning, het was een spannende strijd met Bas Richel en Matthijs de Adelhart Toorop van HKS die alle 3 binnen 45 seconden finishten. Bij de meisjes maakte Lea Seyfried (Duitsland) grote indruk; na een matige kwalificatie was ze in de kwalificatie supersnel op slechts 10 seconden van Bodhi. Lisa Koster van HBS Pijlsnel was juist pijlsnel in de kwalificatie en pakte de Nederlandse titel bij de meisjes voor Alyssa van Niek van HKS, Dyanne Horneman van ONC Clauslaan debuteerde met een 3e plek bij de meisjes. Xander Vis van HKS pakte na een snelle kwalificatie de overwinning op het NK Cadetten voor ploeggenoot Niels de Ruiter. De debutanten Niels van der Wel en Lars Elsenbroek van ONC Clauslaan draaiden gelijk uitstekend mee.

Afsluitende Team-Relay

De estafette was aangekondigd als “voor de fun” maar de deelnemers dachten hier heel anders over. De teams gaven alles voor elkaar en voor hun land om in de –prachtige– prijzen te vallen. Het team Nederland 1 met Tim Freriks, Theun van der Wiel en Mark van Tiel waren NU WEL de internationale toppers de baas!! Zilver was er voor het internationale jeugdteam met Vera Versteegh, Wladek Zytkiewicz en Niklas Krause. Brons voor het 1e Nationale Team Russia met Vlad, Valentina en Vladimir. Team Switbertus (Jorik, Joost en Bram) zat hier vlak achter op plek 4 voor Russia 2 (Oskar, Victoria en Andrey) op plek 5. Ook hier veel spanning met 4 teams binnen 15 seconden.

HKS Zoetermeer, David en zijn team vrijwilligers met speaker Frank Adema en NHB hoofdscheidsrechter bedankt voor een puike sportdag. Verassend was het om de Russische coach met ontbloot bovenlijf in de gezellige HKS kantine te zien: zijn shirt had Vladimir geschonken aan werkgroep voorzitter Wim Mulder. RESPECT.

The results of the Dutch Run-Archery Championship on Saturday, September 28 in Zoetermeer.

Under the inspiring leadership of David Stevenhagen, together with the volunteer team of HKS, a top competition has been put on the beautiful location in Zoetermeer for many years and that has been achieved again in 2018. HKS had many foreign guests and the organization has arranged beautiful weather especially for them (also for NL participants, volunteers and public). The program was compact so that the award ceremony could be concluded at four o’clock with team photo shoots and a drink.

Seniors: international domination

Despite the fact that the level in the Netherlands is increasing every year, TeamNL could not compete with the foreign toppers. The A-final eventually became a 2-fight between the Russian Vlad Kiriutin and the young German Niklas Krause. a dispute that was finally settled by the Russian in his favor. In more than a minute the Russian Andrey Egorov picks up the bronze. Tim Freriks became Dutch Champion for the 4th time in a row, but he was very close to international competition and other Dutchmen are also making the connection. Tim beat the Russian Alexei Andeianov in great final sprint with one (1) second !! Right behind this, the 4th member and coach of the National Team Russia Vladimir Matveev. After an impressive final sprint, Russian junior Oskar Shaimuatov took the 7th place overall as 2nd junior behind Niklas Krause. What a tension and high level; 5 people in the final within 21 seconds; Oskar beat Mark van Tiel from Concordia Zeeland (silver NK) and the 3-team Switbertus on the last meters. Joost Immink (bronze NK), number 3 for the juniors Bram Polman (NK juniors) and Jorik Klein Nijenhuis. In the B-final Wladek Zytkiewicz from HKS took the silver behind Bram at the Dutch Junior Championships and Rik van de Berg (Avalon Apeldoorn) the bronze. Henri Polman was as happy as 14th and last to get a ticket for the A-final as the only master and with that took the NK title for the 6th time. Big challenger and inspirator Wim Mulder (Avalon Sports) was sentenced to the B-Finale, where Wim won the 1st place and silver medal at the masters in a great race (10 of the 12 hits). Andries Domburg (Streekschutters) was just 3 seconds ahead of Eduard Sipman of Avalon to get the bronze away from the masters.
Also with the ladies a foreign topper on the highest pitch of the Dutch Open Championship; the golden German Sandra Szulc was super fast for the silver russian Valentina Linkova. Right behind it was the 1st Dutch lady Vera Versteeg from HKS. Vera is still junior and picked up the gold medal for the Russians Olga Sannikova in the women’s juniors who, after an impressive qualification as the fastest lady overall, disappointed in the final. In the competition Milou van Mierlo of athletics Oirschot was the 3rd senior; as a debutante at the Dutch Championships a top achievement. Milou is not yet a member of the NHB and that’s why the championship went to Marleen Domburg of WAC Wageningen who finished just before the talented russian Victoria Linkova. Tonny van Kuringen-Huijbregts of Aurora Oirschot was the winner at the ladies’ masters.

Aspirants and cadets

Among the aspirants were, thanks to Piet Meertens, a number of new talents that debuted very well. Bodhi van Otterlo made the most of HSV Water shooters with a resounding victory, it was an exciting battle with Bas Richel and Matthijs de Adelhart Toorop of HKS who finished all 3 within 45 seconds. Lea Seyfried (Germany) made a big impression with the girls; after a moderate qualification she was super fast in qualifying at just 10 seconds from Bodhi. Lisa Koster of HBS Pijlsnel was very quick in qualifying and took the Dutch title with the girls for Alyssa van Niek from HKS, Dyanne Horneman from ONC Clauslaan debuted with a 3rd place in the girls. Xander Vis from HKS won after a quick qualification the victory over the NK Cadets for teammate Niels de Ruiter. The debutants Niels van der Wel and Lars Elsenbroek of ONC Clauslaan turned out very well.

Spectacular Team Relay

The relay was announced as “for the fun” but the participants thought very differently about this. The teams did everything for each other and for their country to fall in -precious prizes. The team Netherlands 1 with Tim Freriks, Theun van der Wiel and Mark van Tiel was the boss of the international top !! Silver was for the international youth team with Vera Versteegh, Wladek Zytkiewicz and Niklas Krause. Bronze for the 1st National Team Russia with Vlad, Valentina and Vladimir. Team Switbertus (Jorik, Joost and Bram) was right behind on spot 4 for Russia 2 (Oskar, Victoria and Andrey) on spot 5. Here too much tension with 4 teams within 15 seconds.
