At the European Archery Grand Prix 2025 in Arnhem, the mixed team eliminations delivered exciting and surprising performances across both recurve and compound divisions. While the bronze medals were awarded today, the stage is now set for Saturday’s highly anticipated gold medal finals.
Bronze for The Netherlands
After strong performances throughout the eliminations, Team Netherlands (Laura van der Winkel and Senna Roos) earned themselves a bronze medal in front of a home crowd. In the quarterfinals, they narrowly defeated Ukraine with a 5-3 score, thanks to a consistent sequence of sets scoring 35–36–34–35. Their path to gold was halted by Germany in the semifinals. Katharina Bauer and Mathias Kramer proved too strong, winning 6-2 with increasingly high scoring ends, finishing with a 39 in the final set. The Dutch pair responded with determination in the bronze medal match against Denmark and convincingly won 6-2, scoring 38–37–39–38 across four solid ends.
The gold medal match will now see Germany take on Czechia, who edged out Great Britain and Denmark on their way to the final.

Dutch compound domination to the Final
In the compound mixed category, the Dutch duo of Fenna Stallen and Stef Willems delivered one of the strongest performances of the day. After a 150-147 victory over Poland in the quarterfinals, they faced Denmark in a closely fought semifinal. Both teams opened strong, but it was the Netherlands that finished in style with a perfect 40-point set to turn around the match in the final end to claim the win: 150–149.
This victory sets them up for a gold medal clash against Italy (Giulia Di Nardo and Marco Seri), who beat top-seeded Germany in their own semifinal with 153–148. Germany secured the bronze medal with a 155–153 win over Denmark, recovering from their semifinal loss in commanding fashion.
